Der Studienort bei einem von der AGA anerkannten Instruktor kann frei gewählt werden und innerhalb der 4 Wochen auf 2 Studienplätze aufgeteilt werden. - Ausbildungsort
Der Ausbildungsort ist an einem Arthroskopiezentrum bei einem der AGA-Mitglieder. - Der Studienleiter muss AGA-Instruktor sein
- Unterstützung
Nach persönlicher Organisation zwischen dem Stipendiaten und und dem von der AGA anerekannten Instruktor kann mittels beiliegender Studienbeschreibung um eine Unterstützung von EUR 350,- bis maximal EUR 1.400,- angesucht werden. - Bewerbungsunterlagen

- Ort und Dauer des Studienaufenthalts
- Bestätigung des vereinbarten Studienaufenthaltes durch den Gastgeber
Die Förderung wird vom Instruktor (Host) an den Stipendiaten während seines Aufenthalts ausbezahlt.
Ein Instruktor (Host) kann pro Jahr die Förderung für max. 1 Fellow beantragen.
Pro Kalenderjahr wird die Förderung an max. 3 Fellows vergeben.

AGA- Sponsorship for visiting surgeons
(international, AGA-membership not required)
AGA supports international surgeons who want to visit a distinguished AGA-member for a period of two to four weeks
1. Host
The surgeon is free to choose one or two AGA instructors he would like to visit during his stay. The names of the official AGA instructors are listed on the AGA website.
2. Aim of visit
The surgeon should be interested in arthroscopic procedures and focus on specific techniques he would like to study during his stay.
3. The host must be official AGA-instructor (ref. list on AGA-website)
4. Support by AGA
The surgeon must provide AGA with a study plan and an official invitation by the AGA instructor he wants to visit. AGA may support the visit with a stipendium depending on the estimated cost ranging between 350 and 1400 € (maximum per visit).
5. Application (please send by mail)
a. CV
b. Training, present employment, number of arthroscopic and open surgeries
c. Picture
d. Location and duration of planned visit
e. Letter of invitation by host including aim and duration of visit
Money will be payed out through host.
One host may get AGA-International Sponsoring for a Fellow only once a year.
Limitation: max. 3 fellows per year.
